Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Niu (pseudonym) in Changchun City, Jilin Province is over 60 years old. After 3 years of hardships in the Chaoyanggou Labor Camp, Changchun City, Jilin Province, he continues to walk his path of Fa-rectification steadily. With self-discipline, he strictly advances with diligence in the Fa every day, taking every step correctly on the path of validating the Fa.

The solid foundation in his personal cultivation enabled his family of 4 to successfully appeal in Beijing after July 20, 1999 under the evil suppression, and validate the Fa while shocking the evil.

When Dafa was being viciously attacked in 1999, he went with 2 fellow practitioners and 3 members of his family--his son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter--to Beijing to appeal. There were a lot of police guarding the area outside the Appeal Office, and many Falun Dafa practitioners were arrested before they arrived at the Appeal Office. Mr. Niu was extremely calm at that moment. He only had one firm thought, that they must successfully appeal for justice for Dafa! Hence, his family of 4 broke through the police barricade and went to the Appeal Office, filed the Appeal form and left the place without much difficulty before the policemen realized what was happening.

As he recalled this successful trip to appeal, Mr. Niu said sincerely, "Nothing will be like anything you imagine. What I faced, and how I dealt with the situation... As long as you study the Fa well during daily cultivation, you will be calm naturally, do well naturally, Master will give you wisdom." Master said in Lecturing on and Explaining the Fa at the Metropolitan New York Fa Conference,

"Sometimes when you folks consider an issue you've formed a type of habit--'I want to do such and such thing... here's how I'm going to do this thing... here's how I'm going to do that thing.' You think it over to the point that you feel you've covered everything in a satisfactory way. But when it comes to actually doing it, the real, actual situations are always ever changing and you will see that it turns out it doesn't work. (laughs) And since it doesn't work, you start to think it over again. But that's not how you should do things. Have righteous thoughts. If you think that you should do things in such and such way, then go ahead and do that. When you encounter problems you will naturally know how to solve them. If your righteous thoughts are strong, everything will work out smoothly and it's guaranteed you'll do well."

Now the Fa-rectification is in a new stage. Let us treasure this eternal opportunity, use all sorts of useful ways to validate Dafa, clarify the truth, do well in all that we should do, and fulfill our prehistoric grand wish. At last, let us remember Master's words together, "I hope that Dafa disciples can take the Fa as their teacher, deter interference, and cultivate solidly--this is how a person makes diligent progress."
