Dafa Practitioner Ms. Wang Wenjun From Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province Brutally Tortured at Masanjia Labor Camp

(Clearwisdom.net) August 6^th report: Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Wenjun, a 38-year-old employee of the Nuerhe Weaving Factory in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, died on July 22, 2003 after suffering long-term torture at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.

Ms. Wang Wenjun lived in a residential neighborhood belonging to the factory.

On October 26, 1999, Wang Wenjun and other Dafa practitioners were arrested on Tiananmen Tower for unfurling banners to validate Dafa. Later, she was sentenced to one year of forced labor in Beijing. During the illegal detention, Wang Wenjun was brutally tortured. She was handcuffed and shackled, and detained along with criminals on death row. She was forced to sit on small planks with her legs stretched out for long periods of time. Once, she was hung up for nine hours with her hands cuffed. On October 26, 2000, Wang Wenjun's illegal term expired and she was released. On January 8, 2001, Wang Wenjun went to Beijing again to appeal, and was arrested and sent back to Jinzhou City. She was detained at the No. 1 Detention Center in Jinzhou City. During the detention period, thugs poured cold water on her, slapped her face, and yanked her hair while slamming her head into the wall. In June 2001, Wang Wenjun was sentenced to three years of forced labor and was sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. She was detained at Group Three of Division One in the No. 2 Female Camp.

At the Masanjia Labor Camp, the guards and former practitioners who turned against Dafa after being abused and pressured often tried to brainwash Wang Wenjun, and they forced her to do slave labor, but they failed to shake her rock-solid faith in Dafa. They didn't allow her to study the Fa or do the exercises, and the constant abuse wore down her health terribly. Beginning from May 2002, Wang Wenjun suffered from a stomachache and abnormal vaginal bleeding. The guards ignored her condition and continued to force her to do the same workload.

In December 2002, another round of brutal persecution began at the labor camp. The thugs resorted to violence to brainwash determined Dafa practitioners. They tied Wang Wenjun's legs together in a double-cross posture for as long as five hours. They forced her to sit on a small stool long periods of time. At this time, Wang Wenjun was in a terrible state and she suffered from such a severe stomachache that she could not sleep at night. Later, she was diagnosed with terminal uterine cancer at the Masanjia Hospital. Wang Wenjun became thinner by the day. On December 28, 2002, her ex-husband picked up Wang Wenjun, and the doctor at Masanjia Hospital said Wang was dying. On July 22, 2003, Wang Wenjun passed away at home.
