Officials in Mancheng County of Hebei Province arrested seven female Falun Dafa practitioners during the month of February. The police used handcuffs to hang up five of the seven practitioners in one room. The practitioners did not cooperate with the police and sent forth righteous thoughts together. Three of the handcuffs unlocked by themselves. One of the practitioner's handcuffs opened by themselves three times. The police said to her: "If your handcuffs open again, I will not put them on you again." When the handcuffs opened for the third time, the policeman was surprised and speechless.

One evening after dinner, my daughter-in-law suddenly said that she had sharp pains in her stomach. My son took her to the emergency room. At around 8:00 p.m., the two of them came back with worried looks on their faces. They told me that my daughter-in-law was pregnant but the baby was outside of her uterus. The doctor ordered them to get ready for an operation immediately. At that moment I thought: "There must be reason that my daughter-in-law could come to my home. I am a Falun Dafa practitioner; how could she not benefit from it?" I said to her, "It is so late tonight. Wait until tomorrow to go to hospital. Tonight, you should recite 'Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance' and 'Falun Dafa is good' from the bottom of your heart. Tomorrow something amazing may await you."

The next morning after breakfast, my son took my daughter-in-law to the provincial hospital again. At around noon, both of them returned with smiles on their faces. My son came in the room and did not say a word. He kneeled down in front of Teacher's picture and kowtowed three times. He kept saying, "Thank you Teacher for saving my wife." My daughter-in-law also told me, "Last night, I recited 'Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance' and 'Falun Dafa is good' many times with a pure heart and mind. Dafa really is wondrous beyond belief." A few days later, my daughter-in-law told me that she would like to read Zhuan Falun.

Once I was clarifying the truth to a woman from the countryside. The woman said, "Jiang was badly hurting the peasants and also abducting and fining people (Falun Gong practitioners)." From our conversation, I could see that she already knew the "self-immolation" and persecution of innocent practitioners was planned by Jiang's regime. She also sympathized with practitioners who had done good deeds but were punished by the regime. An older man next to us kept nodding his head while I clarified the truth and he said, "Those people behind the persecution are no good." Another man on a motorcycle commented, "The persecution is so brutal."
