(Clearwisdom.net) Recently the police actively seized Dafa practitioners and
set up some brainwashing sessions. Government officials visit Dafa
practitioners' houses frequently and try to "reform" them. As Dafa
practitioner's, how do we stop this elevated persecution with our righteous
thoughts and acts? I would like to share my thoughts on how I am dealing with
the situation:
- Sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the wicked beings that
control humans and cause them to commit crimes that damage Dafa and
persecute Dafa practitioners, and clearing up obstacles during Fa
rectification.
- Always having strong righteous thoughts without any fear. Master said:
"As I've said, everything that happens today in the ordinary society is
the result of Dafa disciples' thoughts. Even though the old forces do exist,
if you don't have those thoughts they can't do anything. When your righteous
thoughts are strong enough the old forces can't do a thing." [from
"Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia"] Any
fear and human feelings will easily form loopholes in our cultivation.
- Treating others with compassion and using our wisdom to clarify the truth;
exposing the evil to safeguard Dafa. Master said: "All of this is your
goodness (shan) made manifest, and it is what evil fears most."
"The actions they are now adopting in the persecution of Dafa and its
students are extremely evil and shameful, and they fear these will be
exposed." ["Rationality" from Essentials for Further
Advancement II] When we face these people, we cannot judge them as
unsalvageable and disregard them. Actually, the heart of just being wise in
the world and making ourselves safe is deeply hidden. We are Dafa
practitioners, and our mission is to validate Dafa and protect sentient
beings from being weeded out. People are poisoned by deceit and need to know
the truth about Dafa! When they slander Buddha and the Fa, shouldn't we step
forth and validate Dafa! If the topics such as: should we practice the
exercises in public, self immolation, killing lives and other sensitive
subjects are brought up during a conversation, I will clarify the truth of
Dafa persistently even if the other party continues to talk. I shall not
cooperate and will not let the old forces taking advantage of any loopholes.
- With righteous thoughts and actions we should make sure we have an
understanding with our family members, especially when the wicked people
push them for answers to their questions when we continue to practice Falun
Gong. First of all my family will tell them how practicing Dafa improves our
health. When the authorities push for "guarantee statements," our
family answers: "What kind of guarantee will you give us? You seize
people and lock them up for seven to eight months. This has created a big
loss to our life and financial security. You should guarantee to us no more
taking our family members away." Some family members even loudly yelled
at them after experiencing disturbances in their homes, saying, "Every
day you come here to disturb us, what do you want from us!" The
authorities will then leave sheepishly and never come back.
Dafa practitioners have passed through four years of persecution. Let's
complete what's left of our journey with righteous thoughts and actions!
