Police from Wuhan City abducted Mr. Huang Deyang, and he is now being detained in Qingling Detention Center.

Ms. Guo Zhi, a 42-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner from Beijing, was originally a teacher at the Beijing Broadcast Institute. She went to Tiananmen Square to appeal at the end of 2000 and was illegally detained for one month. At the beginning of 2001 she obtained an immigration visa to Canada; however she was intercepted at Customs in the Capital Airport. Later the same year, police attempted to send her to a brainwashing class in Tuanhe by force, but on the way she escaped using righteous thoughts. Since then she has been homeless.

Xia from the safety office at the Beijing Broadcast Institute kept looking for her to ask her to come back to work. Finally, Xia asked someone to deliver a letter to her, asking her to come back to work and solemnly promising that they would not send her to a brainwashing class. In order to let more people to know the truth about the persecution of Falun Dafa, she went back to school in October 2001. On the first day of the 2002 Winter Vacation, the safety office of the Beijing Broadcast Institute colluded with the police office of her resident area and took her to a brainwashing class by force. Even during the Spring Festival [a major Chinese holiday], they did not let her go home. After the Spring Festival, she was allowed to return home for several days. Later she was arrested by police from the Haidian Police Department and was detained there. In October 2002 she was illegally sentenced to three years in jail. The Beijing Broadcast Institute dismissed her instantly.

Guo Zhi's parents, who are eighty years old, and her daughter, who is in high school, have nobody to take care of them. They all depend on a little retirement pension to live. The brother of Guo Zhi, Mr. Guo (detail's not known), is a citizen of the United States. We hope the brother of Guo Zhi, after learning of her situation, can work together with the overseas Falun Gong practitioners to help rescue her out of the demon's den as early as possible.
