Handicapped Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Wang Zhiguo Shocked by Electric Batons in Water

The Jianping County Court of Liaoning Province illegally sentenced Mr. Wang Guozhi, a handicapped Falun Gong practitioner. He was then imprisoned at the No. 4 Prison of the Dabei Prison in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. After experiencing inhumane torture, he is now extremely weak.

Wang Guozhi can neither stand nor walk; he can only move if he uses his hands to move each of his feet forward one after another. He used to be a handicapped weight lifting athlete and was a healthy man. Before he was illegally sent to the Dabei Prison, police in Jianping County brutally tortured him. Policeman Jiang Jie and others from the Political and Security Department put Wang in a room where water had leaked on the floor and shocked him for six hours using several electric batons. The strong current made Wang, who sat in the water, twist and spasm, and his whole body was covered with sweat. When he was sent to the Dabei Prison, his palms were still badly swollen. Police alleged that it was due to mosquito bites. Now, Wang is very weak and emaciated, and the wounds on his hands have not healed.

Wang's elderly mother went to Shenyang to see him. After she returned home, she was distraught by her son's situation. However, she dares not let Wang Guozhi's 90-year-old grandmother know about it, fearing that she could not endure the news. Whenever Wang Guozhi's wife talks about him, she breaks down crying. She has two young daughters to care for without their father.
