The Dean of Jilin Province Agricultural College Receives Karmic Retribution for Persecuting Dafa Practitioners

[Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.]

Sun Baochion, the dean of the Agricultural College in Jilin Province, actively followed Jiang's regime in persecuting Dafa practitioners. Since July 20, 1999, he started forcing Dafa practitioners to participate in month-long criticism meetings, and not even retired practitioners were spared. During spring semester 2001, he organized a criticism meeting, which included over 2000 faculty and students and demanded that everyone sign his or her name on a poster slandering Falun Gong. Refusing to sign his name, a Dafa practitioner was sent to a brainwashing center. He also forced faculty members to watch a movie slandering Dafa in December 2002. Early in 2003, his ten year old son was afflicted with some strange illness, making him mentally unstable. People commented that Sun Baochion had received his due karmic retribution. Because of his evil deeds, even his own family member received the karmic retribution.

Wang Zhi, a 60- something retired teacher from the Agricultural College in Jilin Province carried deep animosity towards Dafa and often-slandered Dafa. Since July 20 1999, he often defamed Dafa openly in public assemblies or criticism meetings. In September 1999, while riding a motorcycle, he and his motorcycle slid under the back of a big truck and he was killed.

Good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet with karmic retribution. Many people around the world now are aware that being kind towards Dafa will bring rewards and slandering Dafa will bring karmic retribution.
