Sentient Beings Eagerly Await to be Saved -- A Long Chat With a Political Committee Official

I ran into a colleague from over 20 years ago by chance. He is now a
Political Committee official for a certain city but is also suffering from an
illness affecting both his thighbones. Even after many treatments, he was still
plagued by it. I clarified the truth about Dafa to him, starting from how I used
to suffer from many chronic illnesses, including pneumonia, until when I was so
fortunate to have found Falun Dafa in 1995. I told him how after cultivating for
only a short period of time, all of my illnesses had disappeared and my mind was
purified, and that my own experience had shown that Falun Gong is truly
beneficial to individuals and the whole nation. I also told him of my close
friends' miraculous recoveries from throat cancer and a blood clot in the brain
after practicing Falun Gong.
A few days later, this official suddenly came to my home for a visit. We
chatted from after dinner to 5 a.m. the next morning. We talked and talked, from
how one who wants to cultivate Falun Gong needs to start from practicing the
principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, to the fact that people from
over 60 countries in the world are practicing Falun Gong; and from Jiang's
jealousy of Falun Gong's popularity to the crimes committed by this dictator in
persecuting Falun Gong.
When we touched upon the staged Tiananmen Self-Immolation incident in
particular, what he said was just the same as the propaganda from the state
media. It was really shocking to me to find that he knew nothing of the truth,
as I originally thought that based on his political sensitivity and experiences
he should have at least suspected something of this badly staged drama of
defamation, and seen through the obvious slanderous intention. From this
example, it was not hard to imagine how many innocent people in the country are
still being deceived by the lies. It also showed how huge a task and how
urgently important the mission that we have to clarify the truth to everyone is.
When I discussed with him, one by one, all the suspicious points before, during,
and after the "self-immolation" incident, he realized that he was lied
to and fooled.
In the end I told him to always remember, "Falun Dafa is good, and
Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." He gladly agreed and
expressed that he will also want to learn Falun Gong in the future.
From this experience of truth clarification, I deeply felt that there are
still so many predestined people who urgently need to learn the truth and are
waiting to be saved.
