Jiang's Fabrications Collapse as the Chinese People Gradually Awaken to the Truth of the Persecution of Falun Gong

During the course of explaining the facts about the persecution, I was pleasantly surprised to discover enormous changes within people's hearts since the year 2001. Back then, many people were misled by the deceitful lies designed to frame Falun Gong, particularly the so-called "Tiananmen Self-Immolation" incident. Whenever I brought up the true situation of Falun Gong, people refused to listen at first. Today, the situation has been reversed. In the past few nights I have encountered ten people. Only one of them was scared and declined to stay and hear the truth, but the other nine gladly listened, accepted literature that clarified the truth, acknowledged the virtues of "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance," denounced the persecution, and expressed their sympathy toward Dafa practitioners. The following stories happened during my efforts to explain the facts about Falun Gong to those people.

When I clarified the truth to an elderly man in his sixties, he said, "Jiang doesn't look to address real societal problems, but has generated such a chaotic environment where good people are oppressed. Nothing is done with rationality these days. Clearly, practicing Falun Gong enables one to improve both physical and mental health, yet they [followers of Jiang's regime] still insist on persecuting. Everyone knows that the government used to support Falun Gong, but now it oppresses Falun Gong. Why? Just because it wants to? Things should be handled with rationality and reason!" I described to him how I had been fined, kidnapped, beaten, and expelled from work during the last few years because of my practice of Falun Gong. The elderly man shook his head, sighed, and then replied, "Look at how they have tormented good people like you! If they continue to mess around like this, our society will be ruined." Later, I gave him some more truth-clarification literature, which he graciously accepted.

The female owner of a bakery was extremely friendly after I mentioned Falun Gong to her. I described to her my experiences both before and after obtaining the Fa, particularly during the period of persecution since July 20, 1999. After hearing this, she said, "It is unbelievable that they treat kind people this way. It is too wicked! Both one's well-being and moral character improve after practicing Falun Gong. Are these not good qualities? How can 'Truth-Compassion-Forbearance' be wrong? You must persevere. It is a shame that you have been persecuted like this." I assured her that the present persecution is only temporary, and that it will soon conclude. Treating Falun Dafa with kindness will bring one a promising future. She promptly accepted the pamphlet I gave her. Before I left, I purchased a few items from her store, and she gave me a small discount. She told me, "You are kindhearted, and I do not wish to make a profit on kind people like you." I replied, "You, too, have a kind heart. If you can keep in mind 'Truth-Compassion-Forbearance' you will definitely have a bright future." She said, "Thank you, thank you very much! I hope the future arrives soon for you benevolent practitioners."

One day I handed a truth-clarification pamphlet to a man who looked around 50 years old. After finding out it was about Falun Gong, he smiled and said, "Yes, this is very helpful. I will read it carefully. My father-in-law and my mother-in-law both practice Falun Gong. They are both over seventy years old, and have been detained a few times because of it. Twice my mother-in-law was even detained for a long period of time. But they haven't given it up; they're still steadfastly cultivating Dafa." He continued, "Jiang is blindly making a mess. Those cases on television that try to frame Falun Gong are all lies. Although I don't practice Falun Gong, I know all the words in the book (Zhuan Falun) teach one to be a good person. The Party even persecutes such honest people; it has truly reached the end of its rope. It is completely over for them."
