Jiayun Sun, left, and Ping Zhang meditate Monday in a Falun Gong exercise near the Centroplex in Baton Rouge. The men, originally from Beijing, live in Houston. They were protesting the imprisonment in China of an American citizen, Charles Li of California. The two demonstrators were participating in a nationwide drive to drum up support for Li and other jailed members of Falun Gong, a group that focuses on slow-motion meditation exercises. [...]
