US Congressman Howard Berman: "There Will Always be a Need for Falun Dafa in Our Community"

Falun Gong practitioners in congratulation of Los Angeles County Falun Dafa Week. He said in the
letter: "Falun Dafa provides a public service of the greatest kind. There will always be a need
for Falun Dafa in our community." Below is the text of the congratulatory letter.
Congress of the United States August 9, 2003 Congratulations on organizing the "Los Angeles County Falun Dafa Week."
Falun Dafa was only introduced to California in 1995, but it has made an immediate impact on our
society. Based on the teachings of Mr. Li Hongzhi, Falun Dafa's exercises and meditations are meant
to provide important aerobic and spiritual services. Falun Dafa focuses on the principles of
truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance; it teaches people not only to improve their own moral
character, but emphasizes the universality of our world and how we all depend on each other. Falun Dafa provides a public service of the greatest kind. There will always be a
need for Falun Dafa in our community. I want to thank everyone who made this event possible and I
