UK Falun Dafa Day Activities in Birmingham (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net, August 25, 2003) On the 23rd of August, practitioners from the UK held activities in Birmingham to celebrate UK Falun Dafa day.

Several sets of practitioners sang Dafa songs, including De Du [Be Saved] and Falun Dafa Hao [Falun Dafa is Good]. There were also acoustic musical performances from practitioners as well as Falun Dafa exercise demonstrations and accompanying explanation. The performances repeatedly received rounds of applause from the audience.

In addition to the musical performances, practitioners also performed a traditional lion dance, fan dance and drum dance. Again, the audience applauded warmly while watching the performances. Passers-by also readily accepted leaflets about Dafa.

At around 2.30 pm, several groups of practitioners went to one of the busiest streets to demonstrate the exercises, distribute leaflets and to perform the Lotus Dance, the Drum dance and the Lion dance. Here again practitioners were warmly received and people accepted flyers happily.
