(Clearwisdom.net, August 26, 2003) August 23, 2003 was small city of Monroe's
centennial in Washington State. Local residents came very early and gathered on
both sides of the streets, waiting to watch the parade. Stars and stripes were
fluttering in the sky. Flowers clustered along the streets and the city was
filled with cheerful atmosphere.
When our Falun Dafa practitioners' procession appeared in front of the local
residents, the parade host briefly introduced Falun Dafa to spectators and
expressed thankfulness to us. Some people excitedly took pictures of our
procession. One after another, groups of children surged towards the front of
our procession and asked the practitioners who carried the flower baskets for
the small lotus flowers that we made with our own hands. Kind-hearted people of
this small city accepted our Dafa introductory pamphlets and flyers for the
rescue of Charles Lee.
