Los Angeles Dafa Practitioners Met with Their Congressional Representative and Clarified the Truth About Dafa to the Assembled Public

(Clearwisdom.net) On August 13, four local Dafa practitioners participated in a meeting between the California State 38^th District House Representative Ms. Grace Napolitano and her constituents in La Puente.

When practitioners introduced themselves, Congresswoman Grace Napolitano was very happy. She said, "Falun Gong; very good! Come on and tell us about Falun Gong." Practitioners took this opportunity to publicly clarify truth about Dafa, distributed Dafa materials and exposed the Jiang regime's persecution against Falun Gong.

Ms. Grace Napolitano, along with several of her fellow congressional representatives had previously nominated Mr. Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Gong, as a Nobel Peace Prize candidate.

In another matter, during an evening session on July 24, 2002, she and other U.S. House Representatives unanimously passed House Resolution 188 with a vote of 420-0, which urged the Chinese government to cease its persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

Not too long ago, she and 80 or more congressional representatives co-signed a letter to the Chinese Ambassador in the U.S., urging the Chinese government to release U.S. citizen and Falun Gong practitioner Charles Li. Charles is currently unlawfully detained in China.

The practitioners expressed their deep gratitude to Congresswoman Grace Napolitano for her support of Falun Gong during the past four years.
