After the "Wei Xingyan Rape Incident" Was Exposed, "610 Office" Officials from Shapingba District of Chongqing City Take Revenge on Dafa Practitioners

Chongqing University student and Falun Gong practitioner, Ms. Wei Xingyan, was raped by a policeman at the Heling Detention Center in the Shapingba District of Chongqing City. The crime was exposed overseas and the "610 Office" officials (an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems) at Shapingba District became very angry. Recently, the "610 Office" officials in the district established a special unit in order to find out who released the news about Wei Xingyan to Clearwisdom.net. They had also set a deadline of one week to achieve the goal starting August 1. This special unit has treated Chongqing University as an important place for investigation. They even moved into Chongqing University to monitor all phone lines and wireless communication systems.

In the morning of August 1, the "610 Office" special unit drove a white van onto Chongqing University premises to monitor the communications within the school and arrested all faculty who discussed this matter. That van was equipped with a complete set of modern equipment that can monitor wire and wireless communications. On the evening of August 3, the special unit officers arrested over a dozen Dafa practitioners on the Chongqing University campus. They were all faculty members and there were about two or three professors.

In dealing with the crime of rape against Wei Xingyan, a student of Chongqing University, the Shapingba District police did not just avoid investigating the policeman who committed the crime, but investigated and arrested only those people with conscience who reported the crime.

In Chongqing, summer is extremely hot. To some people, the intense heat of the summer seems to go beyond weather and people seem to be suppressed by some kind of atmosphere.

When I found out that a female student from Chongqing was detained because she practiced Falun Gong and that a policeman raped her during her detention, I was outraged. Even though I have read a number of persecution cases where Dafa practitioners were tortured for insisting on practicing Falun Gong and clarifying the truth, this kind of animal behavior has rarely been reported in China, even when looking back through history.

I am not someone who believes things easily. I had visited Chongqing University and tried to investigate the matter. Chongqing University at that time still looked the same but no one dared to mention this incident. I went to Wei Xingyan's dormitory but the cleaning lady constantly shook her head when she heard about this and said she had never heard of this and knew nothing about it. But I saw her eyes filled with tears and said to herself, "She did not deserve this even if she practices [Falun Gong]."

In order to prevent their crimes from being further exposed, the police and officials from Chongqing had started a mass arrest of Dafa practitioners. They ransacked their homes, confiscated their personal belongings and at the same time forced them to confess to releasing the news about the Wei Xingyan rape to the public.

Fellow practitioners, let's all remember the tribulations endured by Dafa practitioners. Let's all send forth righteous thoughts and eradicate all the evil in the other dimensions. We also need to record the names of the criminals. They are Chongqing's Political and Legislative Committee officials, Chongqing University Security Department and Shapingba District Police Department.
