Recently, two senior Dafa practitioners, Mr. Jiang Yunqing (a retired security section chief of "Pastoral College") and his wife (name unknown) were illegally taken away. They live in Weifang City's Julong Cotton factory residential area.

The police had pretended to play poker near his home and thus observed Mr. Jiang's regular pattern of distributing Dafa truth-clarifying materials. At 8 o'clock in the morning, they forcibly put him into a police car. At around 12:00 noon, they arrested his wife as well. Their place of detention is as yet unknown.

Recently, Dafa practitioner Mr. An Fengren from the Chuangyezhuang District was forcibly taken away from home. Some officials at his work unit who have a sense of justice let it be known that the Daqing City "610 Office"* has set a quota of arresting practitioners, assigning a quota for every unit. Sometimes when they have difficulty deciding how many a unit should take, they would simply draw lots and the unit has to arrest the exact number of practitioners according to the lot they draw. In a recent one month-period in the Chuangyezhuang District alone, four Dafa practitioners have been arrested. They were either sent to detention centers or sent to Daqing City's Hongweixing Brainwashing Center.

Not long ago, some personnel from the Zhengzhou City Political and Judiciary Committee went to the Wanqing Lodge (wanqing shanzhuang), located at Xiliu Lake in Zhengzhou City, to rent buildings again for holding brainwashing classes. They intended to force Dafa practitioners to give up their belief in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, but they were told that the buildings have already been rented out for running a school. As a result, their plot could not succeed. Now they have gone to the Wanqing Lodge again to attempt to rent buildings for holding brainwashing classes.

2. Zhengzhou City's Baimiao Forced Labor Camp will launch another round of persecution against Dafa practitioners. They plan to use all kinds of excruciating means to torture Dafa practitioners to force them to give up their belief.

In order to achieve the so-called transformation task, the authorities at the Luotai Lodge (Luotai Shanzhuang) Brainwashing Center make use of collaborators to force Dafa practitioners to give up their belief by offering them certain amounts of bonuses and rewards.

* "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.
