(Clearwisdom.net) Every day, thousands of Chinese tourists can be seen in Paris, and Dafa practitioners' appearance among the bustling Chinese tourists has become something unique in the scenic spots.

"Hi, sir! Would you like to read some Chinese materials?" Suddenly, a tall man who walked in front of a group consisting of Chinese government officials said angrily: "We won't read them. Don't give them to us!" But I was not affected by what he said. When I continued to hand out the materials and looked into their faces with a smile, I surprisingly found that the situation was not as the man said. Instead, they did accept the materials from me. As Master Li mentioned in Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Washington DC Fa Conference: "While they're clarifying the facts some students often run into people who don't want to listen, don't accept things, or are even antagonistic. You shouldn't let one person's opposition be a mental setback for you or make you lose the courage to save sentient beings." " Just do whatever you should with compassion, regardless of whether they're receptive or not. Compassion comes from a person's cultivation, and it's not something that's acted out; it comes from deep inside, and it's not something done to show others. It's something that exists eternally, and it doesn't change with the passage of time or changes in circumstances." Recently, I truly felt the power of compassion as mentioned by Master Li. Since compassion comes from deep inside, and the field is peaceful, it naturally eliminates all the vicious factors.

Under such a righteous atmosphere, scenic spots thus become the place for clarifying the truth of Dafa. When sitting on stairs or standing under some shade for a rest, many Chinese tourists often quietly read Dafa materials. It was going on like this again and again. I could feel how much these Chinese have longed for the truth of Dafa. Sometimes as soon as I wanted to talk to them, they approached me and asked me for the materials. It was a common occurrence that those who didn't get the materials would come all the way back to us for materials, or requested other kinds of materials. As I remembered, an elderly man came to me for the materials because he didn't get them. After handing a copy to him, he said that one copy was not enough and asked if we had some other materials. I ended up giving all I had in my bag. After receiving various kinds of materials and CDs, he said: "I'm going to learn Dafa seriously." Then he walked away with satisfaction. Some Chinese government officials had received a kind of "education" before they went abroad. They said that it is not allowed for them to take Falun Gong materials, so they could only take the materials and hide them in their bags, and then read them afterwards. In the beginning, some officials dared not to take the truth-clarification materials, but with our compassion and kind energy field, they ended up accepting the materials and reading them boldly.

Since there are many Chinese people going around there, I didn't have much time to talk to them at length. However, I could feel that they were in the process of changing. Although those who harbored bad thoughts still bent their heads and walked away gloomily, those who didn't know the truth about Falun Gong started to accept our materials after finding out the truth. I often told them some of my personal understanding in the course of cultivation. They seemed happy to listen to what I said. For those who listened to the truth, I would give them my best wishes. I told them that Heaven would bless them if they have good thoughts about Dafa. By doing so, they are able to feel the kindness and compassion of Dafa. I remember that once when I gave my wishes to a youngster, he gave a thumbs-up and said: "Falun Dafa is good."

But there were also times when things were not going so smoothly. One day, when I clarified the truth of Dafa to several Chinese, another group of Chinese tourists happened to arrive there. I thus stopped the conversation, and distributed materials to the group instead. However, it ended up that no one took any materials from me and that those who previously listened to my truth-clarification were gone as well. Another day when many people came, they either rejected my offer as soon as they heard "Falun Gong" or doubted the content of the materials. At first I didn't know what was wrong with the field. Finally I realized that it was because of my own attachments. What was in my mind was to distribute more materials quickly without putting myself in their position. In order to save more Chinese people, actually I need to walk every step well. If I want to accomplish many things at the same time, it would be easy for the evil to take advantage of the gap in my heart. If I am in a great bustle, I may get only half the result with twice the effort. Now I realized that only after I remain steadfast and get everything done well as well as purify my thoughts constantly, could I fulfill the historic mission.
