A Dafa practitioner in Liaoning Province was arrested while hanging up Dafa truth-clarifying banners. The practitioner clarified the truth about Dafa to the police station chief, who released him immediately. When asked why he released the practitioner, the chief answered, "The Falun Gong practitioners are innocent people."

A criminal detainee at a labor camp came to feel that Dafa and Dafa practitioners are great after being with Dafa practitioners. He regretted very much that he did not learn Dafa earlier, otherwise he would not have committed the crime that got him into the labor camp in the first place. He often asked Dafa practitioners to show him how to study the Fa and practice the exercises. When Dafa practitioners went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution, he went on a hunger strike also and persisted to the end. Because of his actions, his sentence term was extended twice, and he was tortured by the guards many times. He was not afraid at all, and he told the guards, "As soon as you release me, I will go to Beijing and tell people the truth also -- Falun Dafa is great."
