Ukraine: Explaining the Facts of the Persecution of Falun Gong at a Youth Association Event (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net, August 4, 2003) On June 27, 2003, in the city of Kramatorsk in the Ukraine, the youth association "Getting United" held events and activities dealing with the issues regarding families and young people. Falun Gong practitioners from Kramatorsk were invited to participate in the activities.

Accompanied by gentle and tranquil music, practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises. The audience quietly watched our exercise demonstration. A practitioner talked about the principles of Dafa to the audience and explained the facts about the Chinese government's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.

Practitioners gave the audience a free newsletter, published by the practitioners, which explained the facts about Falun Dafa and the persecution. People were pleased to accept the newsletter, and then read it carefully. There were a lot of youth organizations attending the activities, and many attendees were pleased to take photos with the practitioners.

One of the activities was to discuss the major issues of the city. In the discussions, we described our experience of cultivating Falun Dafa, which is based on Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. Through cultivation, we have obtained a healthy body and a higher realm of mind. We also expressed our willingness to help in the improvement of the moral standard of young people through the participation in these activities.

At the end, the practitioners were awarded a certificate of appreciation by the coordinator for their participation.
