By a Dafa practitioner in China

Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhou Caixia, in her 40's, was the chief for the Chifeng City Women's Union in Inner Mongolia before the persecution of Falun Gong began. Chifeng City Public Security Department officers arrested her for practicing Falun Gong. In 2000, they sentenced her to three years of forced labor in the Tumuji Labor Camp. The labor camp police tortured her with various inhumane means, but they could not change her righteous belief and determination to keep practicing Falun Dafa. They then transferred her to the Hohhot City Women's Labor Camp where she was subjected to further torment. Now she has suffered a mental collapse as a result of the persecution.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Peng Huiyi is a 60 year old retired teacher. Authorities from the Chifeng City Public Security Department arrested her for practicing Falun Gong and sentenced her to three years of forced labor. She was detained in the Tumuji Labor Camp. Because of her firm belief in Dafa, she was tortured with various inhumane means; her body was covered all over with cuts and bruises, and her two front teeth were knocked out during the beatings. She later went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. A month later, when she was on the verge of death, the labor camp authorities were afraid of bearing the responsibility and let her go home.
