"610 Office" Abducts a Respected 60-year-old Teacher and Sends Him to Wangcun Forced Labor Camp

(Clearwisdom.net)

At 7:00 a.m.., June 28, 2003, "610 Office"* members illegally arrested Mr. Du Zhenrong, a Dafa practitioner in Malou Village, Daozhuang Town of Guangrao County, Shandong Province. They sent him directly to the notorious Wangcun Labor Camp. At that time, 6-7 policemen pulled this respected 60-year-old teacher into their vehicle by force, rudely pushing away his 60-year-old wife and 3-year-old grandson who was holding onto Mr. Du's clothes. They even refused to let him take some changes of clothes.

Recently, the "610 Office" of Guangrao County led police to practitioners' families to force them to sign documents slandering Falun Gong. Mr. Du refused to sign it. So far, he has been in jail for over two weeks, and his family members constantly worry about him. His wife's health is poor, but she has to look after their grandson and 90-year-old mother. Their daughter-in-law was sentenced to 3 years in prison and is now jailed in Tianjin City for distributing truth-clarifying materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. The whole family is suffering from the terrible persecution.

Since July 20, 1999, Guangrao County's "610 Office" thugs have illegally sent more than 20 Dafa practitioners to labor camps, and they once persecuted and humiliated a lot of practitioners, who went to appeal in Beijing, by forcing them to parade around in thin clothes in the cold of winter. Almost all the practitioners in the county had been persecuted in their brainwashing classes. Moreover, they frequently extorted money from practitioners and their relatives. Some families had more than 7,000 Yuan** extorted from them, and the least amount extorted was more than 1,000 Yuan. This is devastating for these poverty-stricken farmers.

The persons participating in the persecution are as follows:

Du Huilin, general secretary of Politics & Law Committee, Gaungrao County;

Liu Xinsheng, head of the county's "610 office";

Niu Rongde, general secretary of Politics & Law Committee, Daozhung Town;

Liu Jixiu, head of Daozhung Town's "610 office," 86-13054679101 (cell).

*The 610 Office is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political or judicial systems.

**Yuan is the Chinese currency. The average monthly salary of an urban worker in China is 500 Yuan.
