Fears of the Prison Police in Beijing's Notorious Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp
7/31/2003 (Clearwisdom.net) Thanks to truth clarification efforts, more and more practitioners who had
gone astray recognized the lies that they were coerced to believe by the
authorities and those working for them. As more and more practitioners returned
to the righteous path of cultivation, the prison police in Tuanhe Forced Labor
Camp became more and more fearful. 1. Fear of Truth-Clarification Phone Calls The head of the fifth brigade said to practitioners: "One day at noon in
2001, I received a brief phone call in my office, telling me of the law of
universe that good deeds are rewarded with good and evil deeds are met with
retribution. The caller persuaded me not to assist the evils. This phone call
scared me. I could not sleep during the whole noon break (it is a custom in
some places in China to have several hours of midday break). To prevent
further calls, I pulled out the phone line and changed my phone number."
The evil-suffocating phone calls placed by practitioners truly function well in
suppressing evils. 2. Fear of Evil Deeds Being Exposed Prisoners being released from the labor camp were thoroughly searched, both
their belongings and their persons. During body searches, all the clothes were
taken off. Every corner, sleeve, neck, shoe, everywhere was carefully searched.
The practitioners' belongings would be confiscated if there were words written
on them. They feared that practitioners would record the truth of the
persecution in the forced labor camp and expose it to the world. 3. Fear of Discussion among Practitioners Control in the forced labor camp became tighter and tighter. Practitioners
were not only forbidden to talk to each other during daily activities, they even
were not allowed to go to the activity room. They had to sit separately and be
watched by police when they went outside. Determined practitioners were detained
individually in single rooms and could not be seen by anybody. 4. Fear of Being Transferred to Brigades that Persecute Falun Gong
Practitioners Two team leaders talked to each other: "Look! How lucky the head of the
fifth brigade Yang Baoli is. After a few days, he will be moved to the head of
the seventh brigade. He can relax now. Who wants to be in charge of the brigades
that persecute Falun Gong practitioners? If you put too much pressure, you will
be exposed when there is an incident. If you manage loosely, the higher
authorities will not be pleased. They want their transformation quota to be
reached. Who can manage these brigades well? Everybody wants to avoid (these
brigades)" It appears that fewer and fewer people want to assist the
evil.
