San Francisco Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in Local Activity with Community Residents (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net August 8^th) On Tuesday, August 5, 2003, San Francisco Falun Gong practitioners participated in the "San Francisco's Evening Outdoor Activity" with residents of several communities living nearby the Chinese Consulate. The aim of the activity was to "Fight against crime together, and build a healthy and safe community."á

San Francisco Bay Area Falun Gong practitioners have been holding peaceful sit-ins in front of the Chinese Consulate for more than four years, and they have naturally become members of the community. The residents have generally learned about the truth of the persecution of Falun Gong. To allow the residents to know more about Falun Dafa from a different angle, some Bay Area practitioners participated in the community activity. The residents gave them warm welcome and expressed their thanks for the practitioners' participation. Chairman of the San Francisco City Council Mr. Gonzalez, Executive Director of San Francisco City Police Department Mr. Fagan and Deputy Chief of the Police Precinct of the community also attended.

Dafa practitioners brought peacefulness and energy to the activity. The sponsor introduced Falun Gong to the residents, and Falun Gong practitioners' "Flying Fairy Dance" and "Lotus Dance" won warm applause from the audience.
