Dozens of Dafa Practitioners Detained for Intercepting TV Signals in Hebei Province Hunger Strike to Protest the Persecution

Sources inside the Xushui County Detention Center in Baoding City, Hebei Province revealed that over two dozen Falun Dafa practitioners are detained for intercepting TV signals to broadcast the truth about Falun Dafa.

About a dozen practitioners are on hunger strike to protest the persecution they face. One female practitioner has been fasting for more than two months. Practitioners are force-fed daily. More details are still to be investigated but we suspect that Dafa practitioners could be in critical condition.

Fearing exposure of their crimes and being held responsible, the detention center refuses visits from practitioners' family members.

Ms. Xie and another practitioner have been sentenced to prison terms, and are now being detained at the Taihang Prison in Meicheng Area, Baoding City. The authorities are planning to hold an illegal trial and sentence the remaining practitioners to prison terms.
