"Car Tour Around the U.S. to Rescue Charles Li" Visits Albany, the Capital of New York State (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) The team of "Car Tour around the U.S. to Rescue Charles Li" arrived in Albany, the capital of New York State on September 5, 2003.

A press conference was held on the west lawn of the old capital building at 2pm. Ms. Rachael Fauss, Chair of the Amnesty International at New York State University at Albany, stressed the importance of human rights and condemned the Chinese government's bad record of human right violation, especially its persecution of Falun Gong.

William Timm, a Falun Gong practitioner from California was the next one to give a speech. He extensively exposed the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese government.

Finally, Miss Yeong-ching Foo, told of the terrible situation that her fiancée Charles Li is facing and the persecution that he has been subject to since his arrest at the Guangzhou Airport on January 22, 2003.

Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the exercises after the press conference. Many passengers got our truth-clarification flyers on that day.
