Dafa Practitioner Ms. Gao Guofeng from Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province Illegally Arrested Again

Ms. Gao Guofeng, 48 years old, lives in Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province. Because of her actions to validate Dafa, she almost died from torture during an early detention. After she was released, she stared to slowly recover at home.

Around 4 am on August 7, 2003, five police officers from the Shuangcheng Hongqi Police Branch forced their way into her house to arrest her. They gave no explanation whatsoever and forcefully tried to take her away. Gao Guofeng resisted with all her strength. Gao's husband struggled with the police to protect his wife. Her two sons also came and asked the police for the reason (for the arrest). The police said, "She has to come with us because she practices Falun Gong. There is no other reason. We only follow orders from the higher authority." Then they tried to drag her into the police car. Under both her sons' protection, the police failed to take her away. One police officer left while three other stayed to watch over Ms. Gao. One of those officers contacted the "610 Office"*. About 20 minutes later, a dozen or so policemen arrived. Without uttering a word they lifted her. The police threatened, "We will arrest anyone who dares to intervene." Unaffected by the police's ferociousness, her family struggled hard with them, since the police greatly outnumbered the family members, they succeeded in carrying her out of the house.

When they got near the police car, Gao Guofeng again refused to get in. With one leg hanging outside of the car, she cried "Falun Dafa is Good!" A policeman kicked her leg so hard that it immediately turned purple. Her husband and elder son tried to protect her but they were outnumbered. Her younger son tried to reason with the police but was also pushed into the police car. A neighbor then somehow managed to pull him out. Finally, Gao Guofeng was taken away despite all the struggle. Her family members were extremely furious. Her younger son was so upset and shocked that he passed out. Her husband yelled, "What kind of a society is this? Is the law made to only persecute the people?"

When they reached the detention center, the police forced her to get out of the car. She shouted, "Falun Dafa is Good!" The police then forcefully dragged her by her arms and legs. A policeman kicked her head at the right ear, which made her lose consciousness. Later she felt people pouring water on her head, but her body was still numb and she couldn't move. When she regained consciousness, she was told that she was now on the second floor of the Second Detention Center building. Exhausted from the brutal torture, she again passed out until 2 PM.
