Recently Minghui.net reported that six Falun Gong practitioners were killed
in the Shibali Female Labor Camp in Zhengzhou city by the "strait
jacket" torture, (for detailed information about the strait jacket torture,

which spread from the No. 3 Male Labor Camp.

2. [Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province] CCP School Holds Brainwashing
Session to Persecute Falun Gong Practitioners
On August 15, 2003, dozens of people from Beijing, and police from all over
the province came to Shuangcheng CCP School and held a 40-day brainwashing
session for Falun gong practitioners.

Detained In Jingjiang Brainwashing Center
At the beginning of August 2003, Ms. Chen Changrong, a 50-year-old
practitioner living at the Chendu Seamless Steel Tube Factory, and another
practitioner, were arrested and detained at the Jingjiang Brainwashing Center.
Since September 2002, a drug addiction therapy center located on Chenren Road,
started holding brainwashing sessions to persecute Falun Gong practitioners.
Some practitioners are still detained there. Hao Xiaofeng and Xu Jianzhong, from
the Political and Law Committee are the responsible parties.
4. [Beijing] Falun Gong Practitioner Detained for One Month
Before July 20, 2003, Falun Gong practitioner Cao Zhicheng was abducted from
home by someone named Wang Cheng and detained at the Yuquanying Police Station
in Beijing. His family members cannot visit him.

5. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Two Practitioners Detained in
Brainwashing Class
In early August 2003, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Luo Ping from Guangzhou
Social Science Association was forced to attend a brainwashing session given by
610 Office.
Ms. Xie Yanmei, a Falun Gong practitioner, was abducted by the Tianhe 610
office.
On August 19, 2003, Falun Gong practitioner Xie Yanmei from Zhongshan
University Affiliated No. 3 Hospital was abducted by Li Muyi, from the Tianhe
610 Office and Safeguard Office of the hospital. He was detained and persecuted
at the Tianhe Brainwashing Center.
Ms. Zhong, a retired employee, was also arrested at the same time. On her way
home from shopping, she was caught and detained.

6. [Yichang City, Hubei Province] Yang Ganlan and Fan Changhua Arrested
In July 2003, Ms. Yang Ganlan was abducted by staff from the Sanxiaba Police
Office and Gezhouba Company Safeguard Office.
On August 14, 2003, Mr. Fan Changhua went to buy breakfast and was arrested
by Zhou Xiangdong and others from Yiling State Safeguard Team. He is currently
detained at the Yichang No 1 Detention Center. Fellow practitioner Mr. Liu Lei.
is also detained with him. In the Yichang area, Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Li
Dan, Ms. Hao Qingrong (Li Dan's mother), Mr. Zheng Dejun, and Ms. Zhang Yonghong
have been illegally sentenced. Xu Hong and Zhou Xiangdong, of the Yiling State
Safeguard Team, are directly responsible

7. [Huludao City, Liaoning province] Several Falun Gong Practitioners
Abducted From their Homes
Policemen from Taijitun Town Police Branch in Lianshan area, Huludao City,
abducted several Falun Gong practitioners, including Jing Zhiyang (60 years
old), Mr. Zhen Yulin, Mr. Zhen Yuchang, Ms. Liu Xiulan (66 years old and from
Tianjiugou Village) and Mr Xu Baotian (from Changlinggou Village) from their
homes and sent them to brainwashing sessions and detention centers. Police
searched their homes, and confiscated their Falun Gong materials. It is said
that the higher authorities set quotas for the arrest of Falun Gong
practitioners.

Police Department Wei Guobao, in the Persecution of Falun Gong practitioners
Since July 20, 1999, Wei Guobao has illegally arrested over 400 Falun gong
practitioners, and sent them to Panjin Labor Camp, Masanjia Labor Camp and
Shenyang Dabei Jail without any legal procedure.

11. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Jing Guiquan Extorts Money from Falun Gong
Practitioners
Jing Guiquan is a staff member of the Political Safeguard Office of the
Tonghua Police Department. He leads a group of people in abducting Falun Gong
practitioners, while pretending to sympathize with the practitioners in order to
deceive their trusting the family members and collect bribes. He has extorted
10,000 to 20,000 Yuan from family members hoping to have practitioners released
for therapy at home.

12. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] City CCP Secretary who Participated In
Persecution of Falun Gong is Demoted
Xu Jingshan, former CCP secretary of Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province, who
had regularly plotted to persecute Falun Gong practitioners, was demoted from
Gongzhuling City CCP Secretary position to Siping City's Mayor's Assistant.
