Illegally Sentenced Dafa Practitioners Secretly Transferred to Different Prisons, Including Writer Mr. Zhao Lishan of Hebei Province

At the end of September 2001, one Dafa material site in Shijiazhuang City was
destroyed. The "610 Office"* arrested, in succession, nine Dafa
practitioners in the city. These practitioners were listed by the police
department as the "key targets" for the aggravated persecution. They
were all illegally given secret sentences of over ten years. In May 2003, they
were transferred from the detention center to different prisons for detention.
Because Jiang, the chief criminal in the persecution of Falun Gong, was
recently charged in lawsuits from several countries, and because Clearwisdom.net
continues to expose the persecution that the nine practitioners have received,
the corrupt officials hurriedly transferred some of the practitioners to
different places.
Mr. Zhao Lishan is a writer from the Hebei Province Federation of Literary
and Art Circles. In early July, he was detained in the Hebei Province No. 1
Prison. Recently, he was secretly transferred to Mancheng Prison. Other Dafa
practitioners transferred were Mr. Niu Mingang, Mr. Zhang Shijun, and Mr. Yang
Xiaojie from Shijiazhuang City. Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Yunman was illegally
detained in Taihang Prison.
* "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute
Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party
and all other political and judiciary systems.
