The Different Fortunes of Criminals in Mainland China and Those in Taiwan

When I read the article "Falun Gong Experiences of Three Inmates in
Zhanghua Juvenile Prison, Taiwan" (http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2003/9/12/40171.html
), I was deeply moved. Those who were once
lost now found themselves and purified their hearts. In China, the criminal
inmates are "reformed." But how are they "reformed?" They
are forced to monitor and persecute Falun Gong practitioners. They are made to
use all kinds of despicable means to force Falun Gong practitioners to give up
their beliefs. They beat and curse practitioners, who never fight back when
beaten or sworn at. What kind of a "reform" is that? What kind of
people are they "reformed" into?
Under the Jiang regime's implication policy, officials at all levels are
assessed and required to reach a certain quota or "reform" ratio. Many
police already know Dafa's greatness and power and they dare not commit any
crimes directly against Dafa practitioners, so they order criminal inmates to
perform the crimes against Dafa. Officials and police at all levels in China can
not escape responsibility for their crimes, no matter what they say, even though
some say they received orders from superiors and did not do it directly.
Further, Teacher's arrangements are solving everything with compassion, as
with those young criminals in Taiwan who have opportunities to hear about Dafa.
It's the old forces' arrangements that control the situation in China, claiming
goodness, but actually making them do evil deeds and ultimately serving their
own goals.
