Practitioner Severely Burned by Electric Shock to the Layer of Muscle Tissue by the Police in The Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Xu Yanxiang, a Dafa practitioner who used to work in Shenzhou City Cotton Company in Hebei Province, was imprisoned in the Shenzhou City Detention Center for more then one year after her appeal in Beijing for Falun Gong in 1999. She was severely tortured with inhumane means. Afterwards, she was sent to the Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp for a year and a half of forced labor. There, she was deceived by the collaborators [former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray due to brainwashing and torture] in the labor camp and wrote a "Guarantee Statement" [A statement to declare that he or she is remorseful for practicing Falun Gong and guarantees not to practice Falun Gong again, not to go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, and never again associate with any Falun Dafa practitioners.]. By the time she had almost served her term, she came across one of Teacher's articles: Dafa Is Indestructible. She immediately recanted her previous actions and declared that everything she had written in the Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp, which was against Dafa and Teacher, was void. The police in the labor camp soon released her out of fear that she would affect other practitioners. Not long after her release, several police, led by Yin Yuzhen (the 610 Office* leader in Shenzhou City and also the Secretary of the Politic and Legislation Committee), broke into her house took her away to a brainwashing center (Yin Yuzhen, Ji Jie, Niu Wenhai, Wang Jinggang are the officers who are in charge of the brainwashing center). Wu Yanxiang went on a hunger strike there to protest and resist the persecution. Maintaining firm righteous thoughts, she was later released from the brainwashing center. Not long after she got home, Xu Yanxiang was again arrested by the Shenzhou City "610 Office" and sent to the Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp in Hebei Province.

Xu Yanxiang is now being brutally tortured in the Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp in Hebei Province. Her back and legs were severely burned by electric batons causing severe damage all the way to the layer of her muscle tissue. Even so, the police officers in the Gaoyang Labor Camp are still continuing this brutal persecution. They have not allowed her to go to sleep for five days as of August 23, 2003. More details are currently under investigation.

*The 610 Office is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political or judicial systems.
