Dafa practitioner Ms. Chen Xingtao, born on February 11, 1963, was a resident of Xinzhuang Group, Guqiao Village, Yanglin Township, Yueyang County, Hunan Province. On January 31, 2001, she was sent to the Bamalong Female Labor Camp in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province. While in detention, she was subjected to various tortures and as a result, her lower body became paralyzed. On May 17, 2001, she was released. Because the severe torture had left her with serious health problems, she never recovered. On May 27, 2002, she passed away.
