Practitioner Li Lianjun From Linghai City, Liaoning Province Tortured in Police Station

At 5 pm on September 1, 2003, 30-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Li Lianjun from Jincheng Town, Linghai City, Liaoning Province was arrested by police at Linghai Bridge. The police interrogated and tortured him until the evening of September 2, 8 p.m. (time of writing this report) at the City Police Station. We do not know where they have sent him.

Li Lianjun and another female Falun Dafa practitioner in Linghai City were both issued a warrant. The police found that Li Lianjun might be in Linghai City on August 31, they posted a warrant with a full-length photo of him all over the streets, and asked all work unit and schools to cooperate.

Li Lianjun has become homeless in order to avoid being arrested. He left his young child to be taken care of by his mother. He was able to escape the police, who shot at him, about two months ago in the Panjin region.
