Canada: Clarifying the Truth on "Clubs Day" at University of Victoria (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) At the beginning of a new term, there are many activities on college campuses. One of them is "Clubs Day." Various student clubs set up booths to promote their activities so that students can select extracurricular activities in which they want to participate.

On September 10-11, 2003, Dafa practitioners in Victoria and Vancouver together set up a "Falun Dafa" booth for "Clubs Day." We prepared the latest Dafa truth-clarifying materials in different languages and postcards to be sent to the Canadian Prime Minister. We also played Dafa truth-clarifying VCDs and demonstrated the exercises. Through talking with students we clarified the facts about Falun Dafa. We also invited students to take part in our Falun Dafa Club.

We clarified the truth to other participating clubs, including the Human Rights Association, Chinese Christians Fellowship, Chinese Student Radio Association, International Friendship Group, and other clubs. The Chinese Student Radio Association promised to broadcast our information. Many students showed interest in Falun Dafa.

We found that participating in Clubs Day and registering a club was a good way to promote Dafa on campus. We planned to hold another event next week to introduce Falun Dafa. More than 70 students registered to attend.
