Dafa Practitioner Mr. Li Qingzhou from Shaanxi Province Tortured to Death

It has been confirmed recently that Dafa practitioner Mr. Li Qingzhou from Hua County, Shaanxi Province, was tortured to death in a labor camp.

The news source did not provide detailed information about Mr. Li, but indicated that he had a wife, one son and one daughter. At present, none of his family members are living in Hua County.

A male staff member of the "Hua County Political and Legal Committee" reported that Mr. Li's work unit was the "Heavy Truck Manufacturing Plant, located on Highway 310," but he refused to give any further information. Later on another male staff member of Hua County Police Department confirmed the death of Mr. Li.

According to news, the police in Shaanxi Province have to date tortured 6 Dafa practitioners to death. The other five victims are:

Mr. Wang Dawei who was beaten to death five days after he was taken away from his home in October 2002;

A 60-year-old lady and a 30-year-old man from Xi'an City who were beaten to death in October 2002;

46-year-old Ms. Sun Guilan who went on a hunger strike to protest the illegal detention and torture, as a result, she was force-fed by the 60^th Hospital in Baoji City, and died on October 9, 2001;

And 60-year-old Ms. Yan Guiqin, a retired worker from Huaan Chemistry Factory in Hu County, who died due to force-feeding in a labor camp on February 9, 2000.
