Mrs. He Memorizes Zhuan Falun

At the practice site this morning, I met a middle-aged couple that had come to learn Falun Gong. While we were taking a break, they told me the following story.

This couple has a seventy-seven-year-old friend from Mainland China, Mrs. He, who came to Australia to visit her family. Shortly after arriving in Australia, Mrs. He was introduced to Falun Gong, and found that once she started reading Zhuan Falun, she couldn't put the book down. She became absorbed in the book and deeply moved by the profound meaning of the Fa [law and principles of the Buddha school]. Soon she was reading the book and practicing the exercises every day. The more she read and practiced, the more she was motivated to continue.

When her visa for the visit was soon to expire, Mrs. He expressed her intention of taking the book back to China with her. Her family strongly dissuaded her from it because the Chinese Government aggressively persecutes Falun Gong. Finally, Mrs. He decided to memorize Zhuan Falun, so she could "put the book in her head" and take it back to China that way. One by one, she began memorizing the paragraphs. Before she returned to China, she had completely memorized the entire book Zhuan Falun.
