(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Liu Rongxiu, 55 years old and retired, was a Falun Dafa practitioner from Qingyuan Section of Changan District in Shijiazhuang City. She was tortured to death on December 7^th, 2001 (as reported by Clearwisdom in January, 2002).

On December 5^th, 2000 Ms Liu went to Beijing to lodge a peaceful appeal for Falun Dafa and was detained and taken back by the Yuhuadonglulu Police Sub-station of Chang'an District Branch, Shijiazhuang Police Station. She was abused and held in custody in the station's detention room together with another Falun Dafa practitioner.

That night Ms Liu's condition declined severely. When the other practitioner learned of her condition, she called in the security guard and asked him to send Ms. Liu Rongxiu to the hospital immediately. The security guard refused to do so. He ignored Ms. Liu, no matter how much pain she was in. Ms. Liu was taken to the hospital the next day only when other policemen came to work. Ms Liu Rongxiu died on the way to hospital.

The Yuhuadonglu Police Sub Station has an undeniable responsibility with respect to Ms. Liu Rongxiu's death. The political instructor of the police sub-station, Jiao Monishing, became an enforcer for Jiang's regime in its persecution of Falun Dafa. He was promoted to work in the Chang'an branch, Shijiazhuang Police Station for his cruelty in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners.
