Karmic Retribution: Deputy Secretary of County Committee in Fangzheng County, Harbin City Dies in a Car Accident
(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is,
being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental
teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe,
"Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in
harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will
incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while
evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a
compassionateáreminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of
those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires
that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of
wrongdoing may they escape retribution. Case 1 Deputy secretary of the county party committee, Guo Yiming, the main person responsible for
persecuting Falun Gong in Fangzheng County, Harbin City died in a car accident in the spring of
2003. Guo Yiming oversaw the persecution of Falun Gong in Fangzheng County. He was especially vicious
towards Dafa practitioners. Some Dafa practitioners had been locked up in the detention center for
seven to eight months already, but he still refused to release them. Case 2 A person who reported on a Dafa practitioner suddenly died of an acute illness. On August 4, 2003, Dafa practitioner Ms. Cao Shufang from Jinzhou City died due to being brutally
tortured by the police. On August 8, the police arrested dozens of Dafa practitioners who had gone
to mourn for Cao Shufang at the crematory. Later it was verified that Cao Shufang was reported by a
person with the surname Niu and was thus arrested. The detention center had often received phone
calls from Niu, which later resulted in Cao's death by torture. In less than a year after this
incident, around late June 2003, Niu suddenly died of an acute illness. Case 3 Four policemen from Fangzheng County Detention Center participated in the persecution and
received karmic retribution. Detention center chief Wang, two detention center deputy chiefs and the political head followed
the Jiang regime's lead in 2000 and brutally persecuted Dafa practitioners. In order to force Dafa
practitioners to give up their cultivation, they beat them up and used various torture devices
against practitioners. Not much later, the detention center was discovered to be harboring a thief.
As a result four of these policemen were fired. Simply for the sake of securing one's position or job, or for obtaining a little bit of money or
promotion, some people persecuted Falun Gong practitioners as though they had no conscience. The
many cases of karmic retribution against those who persecute Falun Gong reveal that the consequences
far outweigh the temporary benefits.
