Police in Huludao City, Liaoning Province Illegally Arrest Dafa Practitioners

Police in Jianchang County, Huludao City, Liaoning Province illegally arrested Dafa disciples and sent them to brainwashing classes. At around 5:30 a.m. on August 26, 2003, 5-6 policemen knocked on the door of Dafa practitioner Ms. Sun Heyan's house, claiming to be newspaper deliverymen. Ms. Sun's children were all awakened by the loud noise. She refused to open the door. Later the police told the truth, saying they were from the police department. Ms. Sun realized that they had come to arrest her so she jumped over the wall and escaped.

After Ms. Sun left, her daughter opened the door. The police did not find Ms. Sun so they questioned her daughter. Later they went to her neighbor's house and looked everywhere for her. Her neighbor reproached the police, who had to leave defeated. However, about 10 minutes later, they came to Ms. Sun's house again to harass her family.

On the same day, Dafa practitioners Mr. Jiang Zhenxue and Ms. Liu Caiqin were both arrested.
