Persecution Cases in Shanxi Province's Female Labor Camp

Case 1: Dafa Practitioner Ms. Rong Meiqin, in her 50s, was illegally sentenced to three years of forced labor. Because she was steadfast in believing in Dafa and Master, No. 4 Team head Liu Zhongmei and also a guard named Lei instigated the drug offenders to frequently monitor her. When she refused to listen to the propaganda, several drug offenders brutally beat her. Some beat her on her face with fists; some beat her back with a small folded chair; some kicked her lower body. They would not stop beating until they were tired. Guard Hao Xiaowen shocked her with an electric baton. Rong Meiqin was always seen with black bruises all over her body, a swollen face and swollen legs. She had several times been confined in a solitary compartment and suffered force-feeding. She even had been sent to a mental hospital. When she had been tortured to a mere skeleton and her life was in danger, she was released.

Case 2: Dafa Practitioner Ms. Guo Rongzhi, in her 40s, had never yielded to the evil. She often suffered brutal beatings from the drug offenders. The inhuman treatment made her develop a lung disease. She coughed blood for a long time and had a high fever and swollen legs. Despite this, she was still held in the coldest room. After her family members saw that her life was in danger and strongly requested her release for medical treatment, she was finally allowed to go home.

Case 3. Dafa Practitioner Ms. Ma Yueying, nearly 40 years old, had once compromised her beliefs against her will and later resumed her practice of Falun Dafa again. Prison guards Liu Zhongmei and Lei put her in solitary confinement, where she was not allowed to sleep, close her eyes or go to the bathroom. She had to stand straight day and night and was not allowed to lean against a wall, bed or anything else. They forced her to listen to the evil propaganda and would beat or scold her anytime.

Case 4: Police incite drug offenders to beat Dafa Practitioner Ms. Niu Lanyun

Case 5: Dafa Practitioner Ms. Xin Sihao, 28 years old, persisted in Dafa cultivation. The No. 3 Team head Meng Ying instigated the drug offenders and collaborators to brutally torture her. She suffered long-term abuse. Furthermore, she was not allowed to sleep, go to the bathroom and would be punished by having to stand straight for more than 10 hours, which made her feet swollen to the point that they were not able to fit into her shoes. Xin Sihao had several times been brutally beaten and suffered severe bloody wounds on her lower body. Because she refused to cooperate with police to sing songs, guard Meng Ying made her stand in the hallway in the cold winter weather day and night without sleep. Meng Ying has tortured many Dafa practitioners.

Case 6: In January 2003, Dafa Practitioner Ms. Hou Qiuguo from Changzhi City was sent to the No. 3 Team. The police and collaborators immediately started to attack her every day, taking turns. She was forced to endure brainwashing and suffered brutal beatings and scolding. Under such evil attacks, Hou Qiuguo suffered a mental collapse due to the torture in less than 10 days. She was not able to take care of herself. In March 2003, the labor camp finally let her family take her home.

Case 7: In late June 2002, the labor camp held over a dozen steadfast Dafa practitioners. Under the instigation of Meng Ying, the prison police and collaborators brutally tortured Dafa practitioners with any means they could think of. The practitioners had no sleep and no food, suffered beatings and were put into solitary confinement. Those steadfast practitioners were later sent to the notorious Beijing Tuanhe Labor Camp for further persecution.

Case 8: Since July 20, 1999, Shanxi Province Female Labor Camp has brutally persecuted several hundred practitioners. As of now, they are still illegally detaining over a hundred practitioners.
