(Clearwisdom.net) I am a prisoner in China. I was in despair when I was sent to the detention center, and I even wanted to end my life. Later, I met many Falun Gong practitioners who told me about the real meaning of life, and what is a good person and what is a bad person. Their words encouraged me to live. The words and behavior of those Dafa practitioners earned so much admiration from others, and I will never forget them. However, the newspapers and TV always slander Falun Gong, which made me very angry. I will expose the lies that even we prisoners don't believe, and wake up all those numb people.

What kind of people are they?

It was extremely cold at night when I was sent to the detention center. When I entered the cell, a person inside asked me to stand beside the urinal, and then he poured three basins of icy cold water over me. I heard that everyone who arrives there must endure this treatment. Afterwards, I hid myself in a corner and was trembling because I was so cold. At this time, someone put an overcoat on me. I looked at that person gratefully. I was thinking, are there really kind people here in the detention center?

The next day I found out that he was a Falun Gong practitioner. He was detained there because he went to Tiananmen Square to display a banner reading, "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance." During the following days, I found that he almost never put his overcoat on himself, although he always wrapped his body up tightly when he slept because he was cold. But why did he still give his overcoat to others? Although my mother also practiced Falun Gong, I had never seriously understood what Falun Gong was. Later, I also found out that he always gave his meal to those who just arrived and were lacking in basic necessities. Did they really cultivate to become such selfless people? Why are such good people put into a detention center?

We often saw Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials because we worked outside of the prison. In addition, my mother kept telling me the truth, and I got to know Falun Gong better.

One day when we worked outside, we saw a striking banner displaying the words "Falun Dafa is Good" posted on a telegraph pole nearby. People passing by there would stop and read it. A prisoner said that these Dafa practitioners were really something. Even in such a dangerous situation, they still clarified the truth. At this time, two women walked toward the telephone pole. One of them looked around, and the other tore up the poster. I stood up and asked, "Who asked you to tear it up? How much are they paying you?" The two women left quickly. I thought, "Why did they run away? Did they know that what they did was wrong? One should not do things that offend God and are against reason just for money."
