(Clearwisdom.net)On December 16, Falun Dafa practitioners in Belgium held a peaceful appeal in front of the Chinese Embassy to call for a public trial to bring Jiang Zemin, the chief organizer of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, to justice. In July 1999, Jiang issued orders to mobilize the Chinese state resources to suppress and persecute Falun Gong.

It has been four years since the beginning of this persecution. To date, 841 people have died, 100, 000 have been illegally imprisoned and tortured, tens of thousands of families have been implicated, and many people have lost their basic rights to work or study. Even overseas Falun Gong practitioners have been affected by the shadow of this terrifying suppression and persecution, as family members in China are threatened and even held in labor camps, and their own passports are denied renewal. Jiang Zemin and his accomplices have already been sued in many countries for the crime of Genocide.
