Dafa Practitioner Ms. Pang Siyuan from Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province Passes Away as a Result of Abuse and Torture

(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioner Ms. Pang Siyuan was from Changyong Village, Shuangchengzhen Township, Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province. She was abducted in November 2002 while attending a Fa conference and was detained in Shuangcheng No.2 Detention Center. Ms. Pang was cruelly tortured, both mentally and physically. Her physical condition kept deteriorating after she was released three months later. She died from the effects of these abuses and torments in May 2003.

Pang Siyuan was very kindhearted. All three members of her family cultivated Dafa, from which they have benefited greatly. She had a happy and harmonious family. Since July 1999, when Jiang's regime started to persecute Falun Gong, Pang Siyuan's family was also persecuted.

In December 2000, the three members of her family went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa. They were abducted, escorted back and detained in Shuangcheng No.2 Detention Center. They were released 15 days later. Several days after that, on January 1, 2001, they were deceived into going to the Shuangcheng Brainwashing Center. Dozens of Dafa practitioners had been abducted and taken there, both male and female. They were locked in one room that was temporarily modified for holding and abusing practitioners.

On January 21, 2001, Pang Siyuan was transferred out of the brainwashing center, together with her daughter. They were forcibly sent to the notorious Wanjia Labor Camp for one year of forced labor. Her husband was sent to the Changlinzi Labor Camp.
