Dong Guixia Is Persecuted to the Brink of Death; Officials in Suizhong County Still Plan to Put Her on Trial

(Clearwisdom.net) In mid-December 2003, Dong Guixia was abducted by the Shijiazhuang police and sent back to Suizhong County in Huludao City. She is currently near death due to the persecution, being fed intravenously, and breathing weakly in Suizhong county hospital. However, Secretary Liu Zhongli of the Political and Law Committee in Suizhong County, Director Shang Ergui of the "610 Office"* in Suizhong County, Vice Director Wang Limin of the Police Department in Suizhong County, and others are still planning to put Dong Guixia on trial so as to sentence her to Dabei prison regardless of her condition. They will be content with nothing less than this frail woman's death. Recently, the court issued a summons to her family; the trial was to be conducted on December 30.

This is an appeal to good and honest people that they might stretch out a hand to condemn and stop this inhuman conduct, and help Dong Guixia obtain freedom and return to her sixty-year-old parents. This is also written with the hope that local Dafa practitioners will expose the persecutors and their evil conduct to the public so as to rescue their fellow practitioner.

Ms. Dong Guixia, 37, is a resident of Kuanban Township in Suizhong County of Huludao City, Liaoning Province. Because she practiced Falun Dafa and refused to give up her belief in Zhen Shan Ren [Truth, Compassion, Forbearance], she was illegally sentenced in October 1999 by Secretary Liu Zhongli of the Political and Law Committee in Suizhong County, and former Sector Chief Wang Fuchen of the Political and Security Section, to three years in a labor camp. She was detained in the infamous Shenyang Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. While there, she adhered to righteous thoughts. She maintained a righteous state despite her suffering in Masanjia, and finally broke away from Masanjia with righteous thoughts one and half years ahead of her scheduled release.

After that, because of her firm belief, she was abducted by the lawless police two more times, but she still broke away using righteous thoughts.

While going through all of her tribulations, Dong Guixia remains filial towards her parents. The following article is a letter home that she wrote on the Mid-Autumn Holiday, 2002. This letter is presented to the reader so as to display a Dafa practitioner's heart. It is hoped that you will understand more of the truth about Falun Gong through this letter, and help to protect good conscience, uphold justice, and build a more sincere, kind, and tolerant society.

Because of the persecution , Guixia's letter home could not reach her parents, so she had it sent through e-mail in the autumn of 2002, addressing it to all relatives of Dafa practitioners suffering from the persecution. Dong Guixia wrote in the letter: I hope that all practitioners' relatives will be strong-willed, and stand up to protect your loved ones. Please do not stand on the side of the evil and spread salt on the wounds of your loved ones. You all know that your loved ones are goodhearted. The greatest suffering for a person is when his/her loved ones betray him/her. Although my non-practitioner relatives don't completely understand the meaning of cultivation, they stood up for justice to defend me against the persecution and protect me whenever the evil people persecuted me, so I was able to break away from the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp using righteous thoughts. I sincerely hope all the good and just people in the world will stretch out a hand to stop the heartless persecution of conscience and fill the world with hope and love.
