My Daughter and I Called Police in China Regarding Liu Chengjun, Who Died from Torture (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) More Sad News On the morning of December 28, 2003, I saw news on the web that Mr. Liu
Chengjun was tortured to death. I felt so sad, and immediately called Jilin
Prison. I was connected several times. I also called the Debiao Police
Substation, where Liu was refused parole for medical treatment. I had
conversations with two police officers. I was still very sad after these calls. Mr. Liu Chengjun, who was tortured to death on December 26,
2003 The Rights of a Child My daughter lives in Japan, a free country, and enjoys having all of her
family together. She can run into her mother's arms, she can take a walk with
her precious doll, and her mother can practice Falun Gong freely and be a part
of Japan's support for Falun Gong. In China, however, [because of the
persecution of Falun Gong] so many children are deprived of the right to live
with both of their parents, or even of their own right to live. Some children
have lost their loving parents, grandparents, uncles and aunties. As a mother, I understand the pain of those children who lost parents--they
are struggling like a thin piece of grass in a storm. As a parent, I deeply
understand why those parents would rather pay the price of leaving their
families [rather than be arrested for practicing Falun Gong]. While being locked
behind bars, they could even be tortured to death. For the same reason, as a mother I cannot ignore all these things in the
world without telling my daughter. I face this world and this life together with
my young and growing daughter. I always tell her there is good and evil in the
human world, which is righteous and which is evil, and as human beings, we
should walk our paths nobly. I always read websites or watch movies together with my daughter, who lives
in a world of childhood happiness. She knows there are many heroes in China. She
also knows that there is a man in China, Jiang Zemin, who ordered the deaths of
many good people, including an eight-month-old infant and his mother. She knows
there are bad police in China who beat up grey-haired seniors. She loves to hear
that story about how an elderly man walked to Tiananmen Square, wearing out
several pairs of shoes on the journey. The eight-month-old infant
and her mother were both tortured to death A Child's Pure, Righteous Thoughts Shake the Police While we were talking, I told her, "Do you know why Mom is very sad? It
is because while we were all celebrating Christmas, a kind man, Mr. Liu was
tortured to death." "Which Mr. Liu?" "The one who wanted to help people in China by broadcasting the truth on
TV." My daughter looked at me with her innocently troubled face. I tried
not to appear too heavyhearted, "I showed you Mr. Liu's photo before. He
was tortured for a long, long time, and then he died as a result." "Mr. Liu died because he was tortured by Chinese police?" "Yes, Mom just called them many times, they are afraid to answer the
phone right now." Upon reaching home, she looked at Mr. Liu's photo. I said, "You see, Mr.
Liu's sleeve is so empty here, it must be that Mr. Liu knew the bad police would
take this photo to deceive people, and he refused to cooperate. Then the bad
police tied him up, and put this shirt on him. No matter how vicious the police
were, Mr. Liu never gave in. Isn't he outstanding?" My daughter looked at
his photo very seriously. I told her, "Mom had to call these bad police, and tell them to stop
doing bad deeds." Later, when I called the Jin-eshan Substation in Yueyang City, Hunan
Province, (86-730-8202960), the person on the other end was very quiet. I said,
"Stop persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. Jiang is being sued overseas in
many places. I hope you will not follow in his footsteps and torture good
people." The other side hung up. At this moment, my daughter asked me if her Chinese pronunciation of
"Young Falun Dafa disciple in Japan" was right. Then she said,
"Mom, I want to make a call." I dialed the same phone number again, and let her take the phone. She spoke
into the phone with her adorable voice, "I am a young Dafa disciple in
Japan. How are you, Mister? ... Falun Dafa is Good!" Then she started singing to the phone, "Falun Dafa is great, Falun Dafa
is great, Falun Dafa is a righteous way, the Buddha's light illuminates
everywhere." She said almost all the Chinese words that she knows. After the song, she said, "Goodbye, Mister!" I helped her hang up
the phone. She asked me with a puzzled look, "Mom, why did the man clap his hands
slowly when I was singing, and then clap very fast when I finished
singing?" She pointed at the receiver, "There were lots of clapping
sounds." "That was because he wanted to sing with you, and you sang so well, he
was clapping for you at the end." I said again, "You sang so beautifully! Maybe the man will not persecute
Falun Dafa after listening to your singing. How about you sing to that lady (the
operator) who works in the prison where Mr. Liu died, and tell her Falun Dafa is
great?" She nodded in agreement. Although it was regular working hours, no one was answering the number for
the operator. We could tell that the evil was scared. I am deeply grateful to Heaven for giving me my daughter, and for the purity
and innocence I experience through her. Although there is so much cruelty in the world today, the faith in
Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance that Falun Dafa has brought back to
people is indestructible. Falun Dafa practitioners in China advance wave upon
wave just like Liu Chengjun. With their lives and their blood, they have given
higher meaning to truth for generations to come. They have left an example for
safeguarding justice. They have set up the real role models for the future
world. Their conduct enables all future generations to understand what is noble
and what is dirty, what is righteous and what is evil, what it is to sacrifice
and what it is to gain. Those great Falun Dafa practitioners, I know your deaths
have established the course of the future. I know deep down inside my daughter's and people's hearts, heroes like Liu
Chengjun live forever. Thank you, Dafa disciples! Thanks to Falun Dafa, for rectifying all! Thanks to Master Li Hongzhi, for he has spread Falun Dafa, which created
millions of disciples and millions of heroes! My daughter and I are pressing our hands in Heshi, and bowing our heads. Written on December 31, 2003 with respect.
