A Letter from Prison: Practitioners Clarify the Truth about Falun Dafa, Inmates Start to Practice January 4, 2004 (Clearwisdom.net) How are you! Since November, the prison guards have not allowed anybody in our prison cell
to send even one letter; nobody has received a letter either. Some learned in
the court that their families had sent them seven or eight letters, including
some pictures. However, nobody ever received any of them. During detention, as long as the prison guards are not pleased they are
allowed to do anything to us, including punishment, beating, and scolding. If
anyone defends oneself, he or she will be beaten or scolded more severely, or
will even be punished with torture instruments. Every inmate is mobilized to
beat Dafa practitioners. Of course, these were the actions of some policemen. There were also
policemen who were kind and righteous. Now, the majority of the police realize
that Falun Dafa is good. The inmates understand more and more about the truth of
Falun Gong and realize that Falun Gong is good. One inmate, who was sentenced to
prison for selling false receipts, realized Falun Dafa is good from the bottom
of his heart after he lived with Falun Dafa practitioners for a period of time
in the prison. He started to practice Falun Gong in the prison. His heart and
mind upgraded quickly. After his release, he studied the Fa and clarified the
truth. After about 20 days, he was sent to the detention center again. This time
it was for cultivating Falun Gong. In the detention center he acted strictly
according to the standard of Falun Dafa practitioners. He did very well. Now, he
has been released. A sixteen year-old girl who was transferred from a different detention
center, also started studying the Fa and doing the exercises in the detention
center. She could remember everything she had read. When she was sent to Chengdu
Detention Center she could recite Dafa from her heart to other practitioners. For practicing Falun Dafa, they were all threatened with extension of their
