Karmic Retribution: Malicious Police Chief Zhang Huisheng Recently Diagnosed with Cancer

The Falun Gong practitioners who lived on Keyuan Road, Jinan City, have been severely persecuted since July 20, 1999. The Chief of the Keyuan Road Police Station, Zhang Huisheng, is a strong supporter of Jiang, and has worked very hard to fulfill Jiang's policy towards Falun Gong, "defaming them politically, bankrupting them financially, destroying them physically." The means that he used to torture practitioners are extremely harsh.

For a period of time, almost all practitioners who appealed for Falun Dafa were tortured at the Keyuan Road Police Station. Electric batons are the main torture tools. One time, about 7-8 practitioners who went to appeal had to stand in the backyard of the police station and were shocked by the electric batons one by one. The procedure was so severe that the whole yard smelled like burnt flesh. The scene was unbearable. In the evenings, after his dinner, Zhang Huisheng would start the tortures himself. For those kind practitioners who tried to reason with him, he'd shock their faces and inside their mouths until their faces and mouths were covered with bloody blisters. He asked the older practitioners what their illnesses were before they began to practice, and then shocked them wherever the illnesses used to occur. A 60-year-old female practitioner had once had heart disease so Zhang shocked her around her heart and breasts until she fainted. He forcefully took off the pants off of several young female practitioners, and shocked their genitalia, saying many low and dirty words. He often asked during the torture, "Are you still going to appeal again? Are you not going to admit that you are wrong?" If he did not like the practitioner's answer, he'd continue to shock the practitioner for a long time until she passed out.

Under the leadership of Zhang Huisheng, the police from the Keyuan Road Police Station started confiscating practitioners' household property in a gangster-like fashion. Typically, the police charge into a house and ransack it, leaving a huge mess. Dafa practitioners have been forced to bear the mental burden of constant harassment and threats every minute of the last four years, because they can be arrested and lose their property at any time, under the pretext of crimes that they did not commit. On Keyuan Road, some practitioners have already had their property confiscated more than 4 times. Zhang Huisheng doesn't hesitate to take money from practitioners and their families. The fines he has levied have ranged from 3,000 to 10,000 Yuan per instance, with some practitioners fined multiple times.

During these four years, numerous practitioners were illegally interrogated, detained and brainwashed by Zhang Huisheng. The Keyuan Road Police sent the highest number of practitioners to the Guodian brainwashing center in the Lixia Area. Zhang confiscated many practitioners' household property and extorted money from many practitioners. He violated the law as a law officer and arbitrarily tortured and tormented many practitioners and their families. This malicious officer, who violated the law and brought shame to the Constitution, was ironically named "outstanding worker" by the Jinan City Police System.

A female practitioner, because she persisted in her belief in Dafa, was sent from a police station to a forced labor camp. Because she had been seriously injured at the police station, after the physical examination the labor camp would not take her in. She should have been sent home, but the police disagreed and so she had to stay at the prisoners' hospital. Later, under closer examination, the hospital considered her illness to be serious, and wanted the police to take her back. The hospital did not want to be responsible for her. Zhang Huisheng refused to take the practitioner back even after the hospital had requested this of him many times. The hospital was forced to get a medical doctor and a security guard to take the practitioner to the police station in a car. When they arrived, Zhang was eating and could not be bothered to take care of it. The staff from the prisoners' hospital waited for many hours. Afterwards, Zhang was half drunk and said, "We are not taking her; let her die in the hospital." The staff had to take the practitioner back to the hospital. A few months later, her illness had further worsened. The practitioner's husband and boss had negotiated many times with the police to allow the practitioner to be transferred to a hospital closer to home, but to no avail. She was not allowed to go home and is receiving treatment under surveillance.

A while ago it was heard that Zhang Huisheng was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. Many practitioners were neither surprised nor cheerful; they only felt sad for this living being. The karma he has accumulated for persecuting Dafa and Dafa practitioners is as high as the mountains. Gods will punish him even if humans don't. He will in the end receive what he deserves. Dafa practitioners have tried to convince him to change, but he stubbornly refused. What awaits him when he has to lie in bed due to his illness? How is he going to enjoy the fame and gain acquired by persecuting others?

To the police officers in the Jinan City police system: do you have any afterthoughts? You might say, "I am not as brutal as Zhang Huisheng." Despite this, have you ever arrested Dafa practitioners, confiscated practitioners' household property, or sent the practitioners to brainwashing centers, labor camps or prisons? Have you ordered others to do such bad things? As long as you have been part of this, you have persecuted practitioners. After July 20, 1999, there were never any legal procedures followed or any evidence found for practitioners' sentences. In the end, it was all your personal will as a law officer to violate the law and do these terrible things. You have followed the horrible criminal logic of "it is never too much, whatever you do to Falun Gong" that tramples basic human rights.

As to Zhang Huisheng's deadly disease, you might say, "It is just a coincidence, it has nothing to do with him getting what he deserves." Of course you don't have to believe that everything has its consequences, but do you believe that most people support goodness and despise evil? Do you believe that in the end, no secrets can be covered up? Do you believe that there will be a time and place that justice will be fulfilled? When the truth of the persecution in Jinan gradually spreads, when malicious people and their conduct is being exposed, when everyone knows of the pain that you have brought to these kindhearted practitioners over the past four years by violating the law, how will your family and children perceive you? How will everyone else look at you? Then, your conscience will not let you rest; you will become so ashamed of yourself. On the day when you stand as the one being accused, will Jiang defend you? Will your supervisors take responsibility for you? I'm afraid that they will try to absolve themselves of their responsibility and crimes, and point their fingers at you officers who physically committed these crimes.

Even though Dafa practitioners are regularly falsely accused and persecuted, they still treat everyone with benevolence, including all of you officers. When you deal with Dafa practitioners, you know that these are good people that you are facing; even your families probably know this. For the past four years, why have Dafa practitioners continued to appeal? It is to tell the world, "Falun Dafa is good." Why do they hold up banners and give out flyers? Because Jiang prevents people from appealing and there is no other way to speak out. All the measures that practitioners take are the most peaceful ones. Why take Jiang to court? Because he created this persecution that forces people to harm and kill people. Do you know how many practitioners' families were persecuted for no reason? Do you know how many police are forced to become the guilty ones, the killers, and the law-violating criminals? If you think carefully, the numerous police officers who are poisoned and tricked are also victims!

Many people have seen through the evilness of the persecution and have become more rational. However, there are still some officers persecuting Dafa practitioners without holding back. We hope you wake up soon and stop doing wrong deeds, and make up for them. That is truly being responsible for yourselves and for the civilians that you serve.
