Special Team Formed to Torture Practitioners at the Sanshui Labor Camp in Guangdong Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Since December 2002, authorities of the Sanshui Labor Camp in Guangdong Province have been following the orders of the "610 Office" and using all means to force Falun Gong practitioners to write the so-called "three statements" (statements denouncing Falun Gong and promising to give up practicing it). They also published the statements written by practitioners under pressure on the website of the "610 Office." Below is an account of a practitioner who went through such torture.

The authorities selected an isolated place within the labor camp, and dispatched over a dozen policemen there to form a so-called "Fight Determined People" brigade. Assisting the police were inmates whose terms were scheduled to expire within one or two months. They used all means to torture practitioners. The police and inmates would cover each practitioner's head with clothes and bring him to a secluded room. They would then beat him, straightening his arms and handcuffing his hands. They forced him to squat, and would not allow him to sit. Whenever the practitioner could not help but sit down, he would be beaten. If he needed to use the restroom, he had to first curse at Falun Gong. Some practitioners had to relieve themselves in their pants because they refused to say bad things about Dafa. Before the three statements were written, no practitioner was allowed to sleep. They would be beaten if they were found closing their eyes. Some practitioners went on hunger strike to protest, so the police and inmates pulled out their front teeth with pliers, and force-fed them via a bamboo tube. They also used electric batons on practitioners, causing them great suffering. Some people were hung up for a whole night.

The police inserted toothpicks into practitioner Li Yuandong's fingernails, and did not allow him to sleep for over 20 days. Wang Zhufeng's arms were broken due to beating. Lin Fengchi's body was badly burned with boiling water and he was not allowed to sleep for over 20 days. Chen Jingping, Chen Jinke, Sun Jiefeng, Zeng Yuming, and Yang Jiedong were not allowed to sleep for 14 days. Then they were taken to a room to be shocked with several electric batons at the same time. Deng Gui, Zhou Jianqiang, Wei Xiaojing and Xie Chunfeng were then taken to the isolation room to be shocked with electric batons. Practitioners tortured also included Liu Qinming, Xie Xibo, Xiong Shiguang, Wu Haibo, Huang Donghe, Wang Bin, Tan Junhui, Wu Hongyao, Ding Rulai, Li Jichang, Xu Jianshun and Zeng Guangxin. Elderly people in their sixties were not spared either.
