By a Dafa practitioner in Mainland China

(Clearwisdom.net) Today I read an article on Clearwisdom about the circulation of a videotape of Master's Lantern Festival Lecture. I felt bad that I did not expose this matter earlier. I had not realized this problem existed in many areas.

Actually, about 10 days ago, I had heard that a video of Master's Lantern Festival Lecture was being circulated among practitioners in some areas in Beijing. They said that they wanted to see Master. I told them this was not right and they should destroy the tape immediately. However, I did not take it seriously and write down my thoughts about the matter. Today I would like to talk about my understanding of this issue.

First, I think none of the practitioners who circulated the video had any intention to damage Dafa. They should have no doubt been aware that Master has repeatedly talked about the serious problems caused by keeping videotapes, and they knew they should not have kept the videotape after the lecture was officially published. However, they just had this or that kind of excuse. Many practitioners and I have never seen Master in person, and have longed to do so. Yet under the current situation of the persecution, this is just impossible.

However, I understood that seeing Master is just a desire, and a hard one to pursue, at that. Being able to become Dafa disciples is precious and the most incomparable fortune. Listening to Master and doing what we should do well are the most important matters! Isn't the need to see Master an attachment to sentimentality? Then how can we follow Master's teaching? How can we face Master? How can we be responsible to ourselves and other people? What can we say to Master when watching the videotape?!

As we all know, Master is really on each disciple's side all the time. Sometimes, when I realized that I did not do well on the three things that are required of us, I would not dare to look at his photo. Let us examine ourselves seriously according to the Fa and treat this issue as an attachment to let go of. We should correct anything that does not conform to the Fa, and we should never again leave any regret on the path of cultivation and Fa-rectification.

In addition, I suggest from now on that overseas practitioners should keep strict control over audio and videotapes that are not intended for the public. It is best not to pass the videos of Master's overseas lectures into Mainland China anymore. If there is anything we should know, Master will sooner or later have Minghui deliver it to us openly. We should not give the evil any more chances to take advantage of us.

I have never looked at or asked for anything that was not officially published on Minghui. Therefore, I have never accepted any false scripture.
