Radio France Internationale: Mr. Liu Chengjun, Who Exposed the Atrocities Against Falun Gong over China's State-Run Television, Was Tortured to Death on December 26, 2003 in Changchun


On December the 29, 2003, RFI Chinese News broadcasted the following report in Mandarin to Mainland China and the Chinese community in Paris:

A report from Falun Gong states that Mr. Liu Chengjun, one of the practitioners responsible for tapping into a local television network to broadcast the facts of the persecution against Falun Gong on March 5, 2002, has passed away in Changchun on December 26, 2003.

The news from Falun Gong stated that on the same day, Jilin Prison officials cremated the body without an autopsy and against the family's wishes.

The report added that some eyewitnesses discovered Liu Chengjun's body with bloodstains near the nostrils, ears, thighs and other areas.
