Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Song Xu from Zhengzhou City Is Secretly Sentenced to Eleven Years in Prison Without The Right to Retain a Lawyer

(Clearwisdom.net)

Abduction

On February 4, 2001, Mr. Song Xu was abducted by police in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. He was wrongfully sentenced to three years of labor camp, and detained in the Baimiao Labor Camp in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. Song Xu was brutally tortured until he became very weak, and was then bailed out for medical treatment.

After he was bailed out for medical treatment, on November 10, 2002, Song Xu was abducted while on the way to a fellow practitioner's home. Police did not find any incriminating evidence, but interrogated him for seven days straight. Police never notified his family of his whereabouts, even after he was missing for several months.

Unjust Trial

On April 8, 2003, the Jinshui District Court put Song Xu on trial. Only a few government officials from the police, procuratorate, and legal system showed up. Under strong protests from Song Xu, they hurriedly proceeded with the trial. They held the trial secretly and did not allow him to have a lawyer or the ability to appeal. He was unjustly sentenced to 11 years. His family never received any notice from the court.

On May 9, 2003, Mr. Song was sent to a prison in Xinmi County, Henan Province, which is called the Qiligang Cement Factory or the Fifteenth Team.

According to sources, one police chief said, "If Song Xu promises not to go to Beijing, we will look over anything he did before." One provincial "610 Office" head told Song Xu during the seven straight days of interrogation, "If you stop practicing Falun Gong, I will find a job for you, and the salary will be 2,000 yuan per month."

We have learned that several collaborators, who are still in detention and have now been "reformed," know Song Xu. They have been instructed to fabricate accusations against him.

Song Xu has been on hunger strike to protest the illegal persecution, and has been force-fed everyday. For Falun Dafa practitioners who read this, please send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil factors in the other dimensions that are causing the persecution, eliminate those old forces' helpers, negate the old forces' arrangements, and help him escape from that evil den. For the international community, please show your concern over this persecution against Falun Dafa practitioners in China.
